A gentle twenty minute walk will take you to the sandy stretch of sheltered beach at Maenporth.
This lively cove, along with Swanpool, is great for dipping your toes, a swim, hiring a kayak, mini golf or watching the world go by at the beach café.
How about a picnic at Gyllyngvase Beach, or a day out exploring exotic gardens, ancient houses and mining history encircled by a much-loved coastline!
Falmouth is also home to the National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and Falmouth University. You will also discover superb restaurants, art galleries and gift shops as you stroll through the town on your way to the harbour where you can hop on a boat across the River Fal or head up stream towards Truro.
